3. Star Gazing at Fox Observatory (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
If you’re visiting the Fort Lauderdale area, you may want to set aside a Saturday night to do some star gazing. The Fox Observatory and the South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association sponsor this weekly event which is open to the public from sunset to midnight. For only $1.50 a person, you can use the telescopes and see the stars like you’ve never seen them before.
4. The Mary Alice Fortin Children’s Art Gallery (Palm Beach, FL)
Check out the ongoing art exhibits at the Mary Alice Fortin Children’s Art Gallery in Palm Beach. The gallery is open through Summer 2016 and features the “Illustrating Words” exhibit that both kids and adults can enjoy.
