Visit the Incline Railroad and the Tennessee Valley Railroad museum, if you have any interest in railroads this will be a delightful place for you. A trip over to Rock City is an interesting city built along a maze of trails that encompass the mountain. A lot of fun and the view from the top is incredible.

Second Stop

Continue Northeast

Leaving Chattanooga continue northeast to the small towns of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. These towns offer shopping galore, activities for all ages including Dollywood, which kids and adults alike will enjoy. You can take a helicopter ride and get a good look at the valley. Take in a show of your favorite western stars; these shows are all suitable for the entire family. You will find that the activities are numerous.
Third Stop

The Great Smokey Mountains

The trip up the Great Smokey Mountain is filled with great vistas, wildlife, and inviting streams for the fisherman. Side trips into the hills around the Smokey Mountains give you a look at Tennessee mountain life.

When you have finished your Smokey Mountain visit, you need to head over to the Biltmore Estate and tour this magnificent residence of the Biltmore family.

Final Stop

Blue Ridge Parkway

Moving on from the Biltmore residence you pick up the Blue Ridge Parkway going through the Appalachian Mountains visiting historic towns and amazing landscape. One can follow the trail all the way to and across New Hampshire. You will visit such towns as Blowing Rock, Little Switzerland, and Boones’ Trace, a trail made famous by trail blazer Daniel Boone.
